Del Maguey Madrecuixe Mezcal is a limited edition mezcal made in San Luis del Rio, from the brand's Vino de Mezcal series. Madrecuixe is a wild agave that takes 10 to 15 years to fully grow and is harvested 3,000 ft high in elevation.
The piñas are earth-roasted for 3 to 8 days and its juices pressed using a traditional stone mill. It is naturally fermented in a wooden vat for 6 to 8 days and double distilled in copper stills.
