Del Maguey San Pedro Taviche is a limited edition mezcal from Del Maguey's Vino de Mezcal Del Campo series, made by master palenquero Alberto "berto" Hernandez Luis. It is made in the mountainous area of Ocotlan, Oaxaca. This mezcal blends 100% espadin, tobala, and tepextate agaves that grow wild for at least 6 to 18 years before harvesting. The piñas are roasted in earth ovens and its juices manually pressed "by two men using giant mallets." After distilling twice in a copper still, it is bottled at 49% ABV.
Mezcal JovenA spirit distilled from one or more different varieties of agave. Can only be produced in designated areas within 8 different Mexican states. Must be bottled in México. This is unaged or aged in stainless steel or plastic containers before bottling.
