Del Maguey San Pedro Taviche is a limited edition mezcal from Del Maguey's Vino de Mezcal Del Campo series, made by master palenquero Alberto "berto" Hernandez Luis. It is made in the mountainous area of Ocotlan, Oaxaca.
This mezcal blends 100% espadin, tobala, and tepextate agaves that grow wild for at least 6 to 18 years before harvesting. The piñas are roasted in earth ovens and its juices manually pressed "by two men using giant mallets.
