It is made in the mountainous area of Ocotlan, Oaxaca. This mezcal blends 100% espadin, tobala, and tepextate agaves that grow wild for at least 6 to 18 years before harvesting. The piñas are roasted in earth ovens and its juices manually pressed "by two men using giant mallets." After distilling twice in a copper still, it is bottled at 49% ABV.
