The sixth release in Dewar's annual Champions Edition series, created to commemorate the U.S. Open, this blended Scotch whisky honors the 126th championship at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York.
Crafted by Master Blender Stephanie Macleod from up to 40 single malt and grain whiskies, it is matured 19 years in ex-bourbon and sherry casks before being marrying in refill oak and finished in Cabernet Franc casks from nearby Wölffer Estate on Long Island.
