Tasting Notes
"The Japanese oak provides a delicate warm spice throughout from nosing to the finish. However, the whisky flavors aren't overpowered. The nose also presents with a light honey and gentle malt aromas as well as a touch of lemon. The grains makes a bit more of a presence on the mid-palate with some sweetness and a nutty, toasted flavor with a touch of herbaceousness. It's got a light bittersweet taste towards the end. The warm spices bring the whisky together for a moderately long finish. It's not a whisky that hits you over the head with flavor bombs, but it still leaves an impression. Take your time and drink neat. "
