Dewar's White Label

While the bottle of Dewars White claims to be 80 proof, it might be better listed as 80 grit. The flavour is rough, the finish raw and unhemmed. It's hard to imagine how a company the can produce the velvety smooth Dewars 12 can produce such an unpleasant bottle of scotch. Not worth buying at any price.

This is what I think of Scotch circa 1980. It's good enough to drink if the best available. Recommend trying.

Smooth, light, and non smokey

A bit harsh neat, but drinkable.

Too mild and a little boring. Similar to Johnnie Walker red label, but like this a little more.

Decent scotch. Not full bodied but has nice light cereal flavor with vanilla.

Light, delicate, not really my style.
