Reviewed November 28, 2021 (edited May 24, 2022)Maybe Doc Swinson is trying too many things here or this has a subpar base spirit, but we didn’t love it. Nose: Sherry sweet Palate: Peaty cognac, quickly turning to Finish: Harsh and long -

Reviewed November 8, 2021 (edited May 6, 2022)Highly Spivey nose with a dark fruit undertone. Cognac dominates the palette up front with that spice. Some light sherry undertone. The finish flattens quickly. Some spice tones longer, but it lacks complexity. Not a bad outing if they were trying to save some bad distillet with multiple finishings, but certainly not a home run.12.0 USD per PourSpokane -

Reviewed October 3, 2021 (edited September 19, 2023)The extra cask play a good size role in the extra cask maturation, with the cognac barrels being a little more pronounced.
