Nose: slightly muted but the sweet oak comes through and marmalade. Palate: That 50% abv os the right spot with vanilla custard amd a smooth creamy texture that you don’t get woth the standard nine year bourbon Finish: is slow and smooth woth that soicy characteristic that comes with the brand. This is a well rounded and refined version of knob creek. It still has the powerfull flavors and spices without being too much in your face like the standard bottle and not super oaky like you get with older single barrel bottles.

Nose: sour apple, honey, sweet malt and ripe apples Palate: creamy mouthfeel and the honey becomes dominant with vanilla flavors as well Finish: medium length finish, butterscotch, oak and rye spice

Nose: light and vibrant smells, cocoa fust and citrus zest. Palate: carmael comes out of nowhere as the first flavor that hots the tongue, inreally didnt get those notes on the nose. Again, thw chocalte theme is there but oretty subtle. Finish: a little astingency with good oak flavors and vanilla frosting. I like this bottle, different from other four roses offerings ive had in the past. It’s fresh vinrant flavors and is not deep rich flavors which is a nice change in pace from other bourbons. This is a good bottle to sip on when you arent trying to have a high octane full proof drink.

Nose: chared oak, vanilla and a bit astringency are the primary notes. Palate: cherries, vanilla and medium mouth feel on the palate. Finish: the oakiness comes back into play and honestly, you really get the same flavor notes from start to finish but still a solid barrel strength bourbon.

Nose: the minty smells come in right away. Slight youth grain, homey and caramel. Palate: Spearmint and vanilla are the predominate flavors and a little disappointing with the lack of complexity and somewhat watered down. Finish: There is an earthy menthol flavor on the tongue that is strange and unfamiliar with other ryes.

Nose: roasted nuts, lemon zest and stone fruits Pallate: cherries, butterscotch and the french oak is the most recognizable oak I get from the pallate Finish: sweet oak with sweet rye spice medium dry finish

Nose: it has a little bit of that Wild Turkey mustiness that you get from other bottlings but still a little light on the scents with maple and vanilla tounding things out. Pallate: tastes and feels lighter than 107 proof wothout overpower or strong flavors. Belvelty texture woth caramel and vanilla leading the profile. Finish: delicate finish and this is where the oak finally comes through with a little astringency at the end. Overall this is lighter and more “delicate” bourbon if you can say that. Drinks lower then its proof and doesnt have a huge oak influnece.

Nose: oak, vanilla and light scents of cherry Palate: the vanilla and butterscotch is very strong on the palate. Not super sweet and drinks a little hotter then its 45 abv. Finish: the rye spice kicks in and dry oak finishes things off. For me the butterscotchand vanilla flavors are from start to finish on this bourbon.

The nose has rich scents of oak and caramel and mustiness that is quote delightful. Palate: Is classic woodford, but it is elevated with strong toasted oak notes. Jist a touch acidity but overall nice. Finish: Dry oak woth a lot of caramel and some fruitiness.

Nose: very sweet, blackberries and touch of oak. Palate: sticky, red wine flavors and malt. Finish: short finish, and dark fruits.
