Nose: sweet oak, ginger bread, maple corn bread Palate: vanilla, dry oak and caramel Finish: cherries, baking spice and baled bread The 12 year offering is my favorite between 10,12,and 14 year, all from 2026 batches. People go crazy over these and pay high secondary for them which i will not do. If i see this at actual msrp inwould probably ourchase it.

Nose: the sherry and fruit scents hit you right off the bat. Strong oakiness shows the age of the whiskey. Really nice nose to start off pour. Palate: rich mouthfeel woth those dark fig and fruit notes. Roasted nuts and a touch of vanilla. Finish: a smooth gentle finish woth those lingering plum and fig notes. Irish whiskey is my least favorite whiskey catagory. Maybe it has something to do with it being triple distilled unmalted grains, but either way it doesn’t do it for me. But this is probably one of my more favorite irish whiskies that i have tried and part of it could be the heavy sherry influence. All in all i will gladly go back for another pour.

Nose: Soft dark fruit and strawberries flavors Palate: Juicy strawberry with a himt of smoke continue from the nose. Interesting you dont get any malted grain flavors. Really nice. Finish: Somewhat dry finish and because of the malted grains you have such a smooth and delicate sip from start to finish. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this whiskey but very well constructed and fun to taste.

Thos is a really special release from Woodford Reserve and orobably my favortie bottles of theirs that i have tried. Great oak flavors on the nose and the palate is sweet bread and rich fruits. Its only on the finish where the rye spice really comes in. The sip feels like it is less than 125 abv.

Nose: that distinct amburana cinnamon aroma hots your nose before the glass reaches you. After a second sniff the rye soices come into focus. Palate: Cinnamon, sweet honey, cotton candy and vanilla. Finish: strong caramel, the abv finally shines through woth the rey soice that was not in the mid palate. Very interesting sip, and fun to have something different once in awhile.

Nose: baked banana bread, vanilla, leather Palate: prominent oak, vanilla cream Finish: medium finish and a bit astringent and earthiness flavor that stays around too long To me this is a bit one dimensional. I had the 10, 12 and 14 year batches from 2026 and the 12 year os the winner in my book. Glad to try all three samples because i dont think any of them are worth secondary prices.

Nose: true Russell’s Reserve, with some extra musty oak and stone fruit. Palate: spicy, oak, creme brûlée, vanilla frosting Finishing: creme brullee keeps going with vanilla. Very nice, sips its proof.. impressed.

Nose: Sweet apple crisp and soft wheat charred oak with hint of butter Palate: it doesn’t have a soft mouth texture bit a lot of tart cherry flavors. Maybe a little too tart?? Finish: long finish, with some nuttiness but that tartness transcends into this spicy astingent flavor that is a little off putting Thos was one of those batches that everyone was talking about so went out of my way to snag it. But for me, it doesnt scream a wheated high proof bourbon with some flavors that jist dont connect with me.
