Don Julio Real Extra Añejo Tequila

Really smoooooth

Very sweet agave aroma sugar cane. Cotton candy. Vanilla. Flavors were more of the same. Vanilla stands out and the sugar is less noteworthy but the sweetness maintains. Finishes with white pepper and low heat.

Better than 1942 but not as good as 1942 primavera orange wine cask. Nice tequila for bourbon drinkers with notes of cooked agave, vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon, caramel, honey, grass, oranges, walnuts, and lavender. Could have been better if it wasn’t for the vanilla overpowering much of the nose and could have used a little less oak on the palate.
