"The nose offers honey and molasses, followed by toffee, citrus zest, and oak. The palate is a bit thin upfront, developing caramel, black pepper, and lemon juice, along with a bitter astringency in the form of coffee grounds and peanut shells. The finish is short to moderate in length, with leathery tannins alongside a closing note of chocolate syrup."
