"After four years in oak, Downslope Distilling's Double Diamond whiskey has had any rough edges worn down to create a pleasantly sweet spirit with notes of vanilla and butterscotch. It's nonetheless a little tart with a hint of drying tannins in the finish. It comes across a little light, and would perhaps benefit from bottling at a higher proof."
