Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin

strong juniper and citrus nose, but anise and spice/pepper explodes in the mouth. juniper and strong citrus grow on the finish which is dry and a little hot. it's an unusual gin, but makes an interesting mix in classic cocktails calling for absinthe and citrus (like Corpse Reviver #2--this gin is almost there on its own). can see it making an interesting Tom Collins or G&T too. definitely worth experimenting.

Grapefruit

spicy, and very much like gunpowder. not the best for mixing simply. would be better with complex spice and sweet mixes you'd find in a speakeasy bar.

Very clean, unique flavor, the nose is like a wonderful perfume and the palate has an immediate citrus, lemon-orange, tangy quality. Mixes incredibly well with grapefruit juice
