Nose: Plenty of alcohol comes through on the nose. It smells like it’s going to drink hotter than it does. Notes of Carmel, vanilla and brown sugar are the most prevalent. Mild citrus notes are detected as well.
Palate: It drinks like a young bourbon. A decent amount of heat is present, but not over powering. Carmel and brown sugar are what I primarily taste. It finishes with a hint of orange and another unidentified flavor (perhaps a tobacco).
Mouthfeel: pretty light mouth feel but it doesn’t take away from tasting the bourbon. Little viscosity.
Nose: butterscotch, sugar, candy apple
Palate: red apple, full and oily, subtle caramel and vanilla bean
Finish: sweet up front, but spicy at the end
Really enjoy this bottle.
Smell - cherry wood being smoked, caramel, honey. Slight peppery/citrus scent.
Taste - smooth with a lingering honey citrus aftertaste. I taste the cherry almost too. Very flavorful and I experienced multiple flavors in the process.
