This is the second Añejo Gran Reserva Tequila batch from El Tequileño. Like the first batch, it's made with 100% blue weber agave sourced from Los Altos in Jalisco. The tequila is made from a blend of one year-old añejo and two and four-year old extra añejos which were aged in American and French oak barrels.
Every batch is made using different types of barrels, primarily American oak ex-bourbon and French oak Chardonnay barrels. Available for a limited time beginning August 8, 2024. (SRP $99.

Tequila AñejoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged for at least a year in barrels not to exceed 600 liters. Any type of wood is acceptable, but ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Añejo tequilas are also known as "aged" or "extra aged".
