Reviewed May 1, 2024 (edited May 2, 2024)This is for the regular repo although flavor profile, notes and score are good for both. Both bar code makes the grand reserva version pop up here. Grand Reserva is a great product but the regular reposado at half the price is probably the best value in the tequila world. Delicious enough to sip yet affordable enough that you can throw a case at Margs and Palomas and not feel bad. Premium juice at a budget price, beats the additive-filled so-called premium products like Clase Azul, Casamigos or Don Julio 1942 on smell and taste all day long, just has a humble packaging. -

Reviewed February 20, 2021 (edited June 24, 2023)Neat. Nose is moderate intensity and delicious with caramel, butterscotch, oak, agave, some light fruit such as pear, and hints of baking spice, vanilla, and green herbs. Taste starts with agave, honey, pear, oak, vanilla. Then develops with some barrel char, pepper, anise, slight spearmint, and green herbs. Finish is dry and not particularly sweet with some slight oak tannins, vanilla, and anise. Overall, it's very good. Smooth with well balanced and pretty flavors. There is some complexity here, but can be easily overlooked as the flavors can be mild. Additive free and the natural flavors support this and is appreciated. Best enjoyed neat, slowly sipped in a quiet room. Use as a mixer would be a waste as the flavors would be overwhelmed.. Value is tricky. I have a few favorite repos that are 1/3 less..but then I see that bottle of Clase Azul for double this and it is far inferior to this bottle, while keeping a similar flavor profile (without the obvious additives)59.0 USD per Bottle
