The production of Elemental Cornish Gin is a family affair started by John and Jilly Meyer, along with their children Alice and Jeremy. Named in honor of elements used both in the production of gin and alchemy (copper and water), this gin is made with 12 botanicals, including juniper berries, coriander seeds, cassia bark and orris root (the rest of the recipe's lineup is a closely guarded family secret).

These botanicals are seeped overnight with a organic English grain spirit, which is then distilled in a copper head still. The final gin is then bottled at 40% ABV.

This style of gin takes a neutral spirit and then adds juniper berries and other natural flavorings before it is re-distilled. After distillation, additional flavors (artificial or natural) and sweeteners may be added.
