Reviewed October 3, 2014 (edited December 12, 2014)Great value. Very drinkable to on ice. I normally drink my whiskey neat but this is very good on ice. It comes down to personal preference but this tastes likes I'm sucking on a piece of an oak tree. -

Reviewed October 2, 2014 (edited August 27, 2017)Currently my personal favorite bourbon! Very nice classic bourbon taste. Nose is vanilla/butterscotch and caramel. Taste has some heat, subtle sweetness and a prominent rye spiciness. Finish is buttery caramel. I've found that the addition of water gives it a slight tartness, so I prefer it neat. I sip a shot of this for about an hour and I am happy. -

Reviewed September 30, 2014Great value and bold flavor in this bourbon. For the price, I'll keep it in the cabinet. Contains good oak flavor,with caramel, raisin and pepper. Pretty big burn on the finish. I need to be in the mood for it.
