Elijah Craig 18 Year Single Barrel Bourbon

I really dislike the ecbp so thought i would hate this. To the contrary! This is a total sweet fruit bomb with a hint of peanut. My wife noted heavy fig on the nose. Delicious.

Man this is such a fruit bomb in the best way. Like pears and apples and juicy sweet fruits. Then accompanies by a peanut shell vibe. Super nice. Was afraid it would be too bitter oaky but my bottle really isnt at all.

Better than expected. Extremely nutty / peanut shells nose, followed by an intense fruity sweetness on the front of the palette. Mid palette then gets quite astringent oak, but it faded quickly.

Incredibly disappointed, I’d rather have barrel proof any day over this. Especially for the price for the bottle and most definitely for a single pour
