The experience for the price tag is just not there for me. Not anything special for the price point. Not bad at all, just underwhelming. Deep oak complexity, very smooth; low proof brings underwhelming entry to palate, but oak and subtle spice quickly come to forefront; some honey up front; oak tannin chew with leather notes, little floral or fruit, missing sweeter caramel, vanilla and cinnamon. Finishes smooth and satisfying. Subsequent follow on experiences leaves me more interested. However, for the price point not worth the investment, but definitely worth a pour at a tasting or offered elsewhere.
