Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch B521

Unfortunately, out of the 2020 and 2021 Elijah Craig barrel proof releases, this is my least favorite. Not to say that it is bad - those other batches set a very high bar. This is still great - well above average. I'll continue to hit up these barrel proof releases.

Apple Cinnamon Carmel Vanilla

Nose: caramel, caramel popcorn, candy corn, butter, vanilla, brown sugar, strawberry cheesecake, icing, sweet oak, toasted char Taste: caramel apple, vanilla, char, oak, yellow cake, sugar frosting Finish: charred oak, bitter chocolate

Vanilla and caramel apple complemented with a light leather and nice palatable burn from the lower proof. It's an enjoyable bottle at $60. Glad I bought 2!
