Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon

Super well balance with a deep smoke and spice. Tingle

Spice and light sweet. Ethanol is a little high for my tastes. Its better than average but not my fav. I had another small batch at a bar was much better.

Took me about half the bottle to start appreciating this Bourbon. Love the caramel aspect, little less the herbaceous herbs though. Nice and oily.

It has several above average notes but not anything exceptional. A smooth start and mouth feel with typical flavors, a nice long warmth and finish, again nothing harsh or bad but then not anything memorable. A solid mixing bourbon but I like mine neat
