Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon

Stong after taste. A bit gingery. Hint of Vanilla.

Nose: caramel but something dulling the sweetness, maybe a rye or tobacco Taste: almost a sourness, strong alcohol, maybe pickle - is this high rye? Finish: whatever this note I’m identifying as rye is lingering, alcohol burn After reading review: the pipe tobacco and alcohol burn were prominent for me, couldn’t get past them to find more. It’s just not sweet in the way that I think of bourbon sweetness.
