Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon

It starts sweet then kicks you in the teeth with a spicy, hot finish. This isn't an every-day sipper like a Bulleit or Evan Williams (my favorites at the $25-$30 price point) but it cures what ails ya if you're in the mood for a couple of different flavor profiles in a single pour. Whatever points this loses for its potent finish it gains back for being reasonably complex for its price point. A solid 3.5-4 stars.
