I love Elijah Craig I feel like the oak is just has the right balance and presence that some bourbon don’t have. On the noise I get oak, baking spices, a hint of vanilla & brown sugar, cherry and green apple. The palate is sweet up front with the apple note caring through on the palate. Mid palate brings some spices, like clove and cinnamon, on the back end I get a nice oak presence with a hint of barrel char. The finish is short to medium with a nice spice character, oak, fruity sweetness, the is a light mouth coating as well. Very good representation of what bourbon is supposed to taste like, is my daily drinker.
