Decent bourbon for an inexpensive price. Lot's of vanilla caramel and oak flavor, and a bit of spice. It's blended with some barrels a little on the young side at a high strength, so mix with a little water or give it time to breathe.

4.3. I preferred the 12 year, but this is not a bad replacement. Seems more spicy than the 12 year, not a bad thing. Still one of the better bourbons for the price.

Sweet, maple aroma, good charred oak flavor on the nose, has a smooth entrance with a slight burn on the finish.
