So my first exposure to EC was the small batch and I have yet to find a bottle of 12 year to compare it to so keep that in mind if you keep reading... The small batch is sold at a local Costco so I can get this for $22.50 plus tax... Which is awesome and bad at the same time... One of the few Bourbons I can drink neat over and over but it is a fantastic mixer as well. Burnt sugar and vanilla on the nose give way to a sweet honey finish with only a hint of spice. This is my go-to Bourbon to share with all my friends and provide to newbies as their intro to Bourbon. For the money, this is the best Bourbon for everyday drinking and a must-have in your cabinet.
