Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon

Overall sweet. Carmel, vanilla, dark chocolate and cinnamon notes. Good value, but not particularly unique or interesting.

The nose is bright lemon and citrus mingles with deep sweetness of honey and dried fruits. Oak, leather and white pepper. The palate is smooth and nutty, with bitter dark chocolate. Plums and prunes provide a sweet feel, with baking spices. More oak and leather towards the end. Finish is thick, slightly oily, and sweet like brown sugar and caramel.

Very, very solid bourbon. And a very reasonable price point. My scotch-snob BiL even thought this was good.
