Elmer T. Lee Single Barrel Bourbon

Smooth!!

Hands down my favorite bourbon. Perfect balance of sweet with a hint of spice. I can sip on this and nothing else and I'd be ok with that. Get a bottle if you can find one. Absolutely worth the price of admission.

Nose is strong on caramel, with oak and apple cider undertones. Fruity notes become more prominent as it breathes, and almond becomes detectable. Taste includes similar notes: pear, caramel, apple cider, and raw honey. Finishes with a pleasant burn that includes oak and perhaps citrus notes. Outstanding value!
