My ratings take cost into account, and for the price this is an okay bourbon, but EWBiB is about the same price and 10x better. I expect a cheap bourbon to basically be a rough picture of bourbon, and this does not fit the bill.
I would rather have even Williams single barrel if I am buying EW. It was an alright pour. Not much to it. Probably would not buy it again but was fine for making cocktails. Would not suggest it neat.
I don't like this as much as the Evan Williams white label Bottled-in-Bond, and I'm not sure it's even as good as the usual Black Label Evan Williams. But I do think it's a pleasant tasting, drinkable bourbon. Not my favorite, but not bad either.
