Evan Williams 1783 Bourbon (80 Proof)

Tasted blind. This is good bourbon, but not great. It is between EW Black and EWSB. Similar notes, but some amplified, while others are softened. The long finish is certainly smoky EW. Since the SB reserve is $29 I believe I would select that over either of the EW offerings.

Spicy, smooth finish; wished I could have gone 4.25 😉

Very much bourbon. Honey and vanilla nose. Heat up front and along the tongue. Noticeable oak, but not overpowering. Cinnamon, honey, and vanilla flavors, with the vanilla being more located at the end. For the price, not bad at all.
