For the price it's hard to knock this in any way, a BiB under $20. The reason I don't rate it highly is that it's instantly forgettable. In the bargain tier bourbon category, I'd give the edge to Ezra Brooks just for its easy going butter-on-toast quality.
But Evan Williams white label is the Wonderbread of bourbons. Inoffensive, unremarkable. The proof validates it as a cheap bourbon worthy of keeping on hand for cocktails, as it will cut through the dilution. But otherwise, this is not something to seek out.
