Expresiones del Corazón is an annual series of tequila produced at Casa San Matias Distillery in Los Altos de Jalisco, Mexico with reposados and añejos matured in barrels from Buffalo Trace. For the first time in the series, a reposado was matured for 12 months in barrels that once held Elmer T.
Lee bourbon. It is bottled at 80 proof and available in limited quantities as of December, 2021.

Tequila ReposadoDistilled from 100% blue Weber agave, it is aged from 2 months up to a year in barrels no larger than 20,000 L. Any type of wood is acceptable, although ex-bourbon barrels are most common. Reposado translates to "rested".
