RyeRye produced in the US must be made of at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels (no age requirement). Elsewhere, it will be made according to the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"The aroma presents with vanilla cream, apple skins, popcorn, dried grass and sawdust. The taste leans heavily on the bitter on the bittersweet scale, but there is some sweetness there. It feels full and soft on the palate and the finish is short, but pleasant enough. Those that prefer the rye flavor to punch through a bit more may be disappointed, but for whiskey delivers enough to like for the price point. "
