On the nose, the tequila features the light scents of vanilla and cinnamon beneath the much stronger scents of agave and the oak cask.
On the tongue, the tequila starts a little sweet with the distinct taste of the agave as well as a sweet vanilla flavor. The body of the taste mellows out into the wood of the cask which becomes a bitter finish. Good, not phenomenal, but it should be a fairly good base for cocktails.
Good tequila for the price, and a solid entry reposado. There is a slight alcohol bite up front, which quickly fades into a nice toasted agave flavor, with a hint of cinnamon spice. This is a reposado that boxes a good full class above it's weight.
