Tasting Notes
"The nose offers up the cherrywood, toasty barrel spices, mild smoke and bright red fruits. There's also an underlying nutty element here. The smoke comes through a bit stronger (average plus), but it still feels like a balanced whiskey. It's shows some spiced elements, a mild malty profile, along with the smoky cherry. Ending is short and (bitter)sweet. Perhaps not an everyday sipper, but it's nice enough. Would make a nice smoky Old Fashioned — make sure to use the good cherries!"
