Reviewed July 22, 2021The nose is peaty, coastal, oily and medicinal, with some light fruits. The palate is peaty, and salty, with grasses, elastoplast, and some smoke. The finish is dry, and warm, with grass again and a bit of sour tanginess. -

Reviewed July 6, 2020Funny, but the nose just reminded me when I was a kid I was picking colorado beetles from the potatoes leaves. Nose:nice light sweet peat smoke. Light ash, bonfire, honey, little grass, rubber. Palate: could be better. Like young ,alcoholic touch, but sweet peat with peppery ,tobacco finish. Looks unchillfiltered. -

Reviewed February 1, 2020The nose has a hint of what reminds me ever so slightly of urine. Not in an insulting way, but rather a hint of ammonia over a leathery note. The leather is a new leather, like a car interior. There’s a bite in the initial moment of the sip that feels like it is saying “haha! just kidding! gotcha!” ...followed promptly by good behavior like a straight “C’s” student turning in his homework at the last minute.Trader Joe's -

Reviewed December 3, 2019Nose: a solid base of brine and light smoke; bandaid like. Palate: very aggressive with the bandaid smoke and brine notes. Light/dry texture. Finish: slight tart fruit notes that shows as the alcohol burn fades.
