Fleischmann's Royal Vodka is a grain based vodka owned by Sazerac Company out of Kentucky. The brand was founded in 1868 to produce both distilled spirits and compressed yeast.
The original Fleischmann plant was built in 1870 in Riverside, Ohio and produced gin and vodka. In 1989 the brand was acquired by Glenmore Distillery Company which later sold to United Distillers, then Barton Brands, and eventually Sazerac Company in 2009.
