Found North Peregrine: First Flight
This is the first release in Found North's Peregrine series. It consists of a blend of Canadian whiskies with a minimum 20 year age statement: a 20-year-old rye aged in ex-Speyside Scotch casks, a 22-year-old corn whiskey aged in new American oak, a 23-year-old corn whiskey aged in refill oak, a 24-year-old corn whiskey aged in ex-bourbon, and a 27-year-old corn aged in Hungarian oak with a final mash bill of 76% corn, 23% rye, and 1% malted barley. These are married and finished in a combination of ex-cognac, new American oak, and new French Limousin oak.
It is bottled non-chill filtered at 126.2 proof and limited to 1,602 bottles as of December 5, 2023. .
