Foundry Distilling Midnight Ritual

Was excited to try this one with the Boulevard wheat beer partnership. Not as great as I hoped for but interesting nonetheless. Does lean heavy towards the banana notes. This one I liked the best on ice allowing a few to melt. Would still like to try other offerings from foundry as I like the beer driven mash partnerships

Had a friend 'blind pour' this for me and I picked it out right away. No other whiskey I've had tastes and smells like bananas (not in a good way).

Tastes like overpriced toilet cleaner. Acid, banana, and malty weird notes. Stick with your crappy beer Boulevard

Banana, apple, baking spices all really pop from the unfiltered wheat beer base. Really reminds me of super traditional spice/herb/root schnapps from Germany in nose and mouth feel. Really delicious.

Banana Banana Banana. Did I mention the banana. Such an easy sipper. I like it but may not please a lot of pallettes. Dessert for sure. May not stand up to its $60 price point. Very unique single malt taste.
