This is the first limited edition release in the brand's Kelvin Collaboration series, which presents Kentucky bourbon with different cask finishes. This one is a bourbon that was distilled in 2007 from a mash bill of 74% corn, 18% rye, and 8% malted barley that is initially aged in new, charred American oak. It is then finished in ex-sherry rum barrels selected by Kelvin Cooperage for a total minimum 11 years of maturation.
It was released as of April 2019 at 123.4 proof, originally limited to Kentucky and Tennessee. .
