The bourbons are initially matured according to their age statement in new, charred American oak. They are then combined and matured for an additional 5 months in a "split stave" barrel that is constructed from #2 char, #4 char, and medium toast staves. It is bottled at cask strength, non chill-filtered, at 57.8% ABV.
