Nose is yeasty sawdust, vanilla and honey. Taste is remarkably smooth baklava, layered honey, paper thin bread and vanilla with a hint of caramel. Undertones of orange blossoms. A sweet, rounded finish.
Warehouse FS. Bottle 79-6 H.
Just seemed to lack body that other bourbons have. The smell was amazing! The taste after the nosey anticipation….a let down.
Someone quoted something that stuck with me…
“When’s the last time you heard someone say…man, I need to go pick up a bottle of four roses now?” Just better bourbons out there for the same price. I’d drink it if offered and would possibly buy a bottle if it was cheaper than the $43 price tag at my local state store but will pass on adding this one to the collection.
