Caramel, sweet oak, ripe fruit, toffee, honey, and vanilla on the nose. The palate opens with caramel sweetness and gradually turns toward wood, with touches of cinnamon and hazelnut. Round texture, perfect alcohol integration, and a very long finish with an extraordinary wood note. It does not have many layers, but it is balanced to perfection. This is the bourbon that introduced me to the category, and that gives it even more value.
