On the nose I get brown sugar and honey with hints of floral and oak. On the palate less sweet with some oak and spice. Finished with baking spice and some oak tannins. Overall not a bad pour a step up from the yellow label, but lacks the depth of the single barrel.
Upon tasting again near the bottom of the bottle it really got sweeter and more vanilla notes. I like when you come back to bourbon and like it more then before, pleasantly surprised.
