It was reopened in 1996 by the Seale family and is now operated by fourth generation distiller Richard Seale. Foursquare Mark XI "Sagacity" is the 11th release in the distillery's Exceptional Cask Selections series.
Sagacity is a single blended rum that contains pot and Coffey distilled molasses rums. Furthermore, it's a blend of two distinct single blended rums, both aged for 12 years. One rum aged in ex-bourbon barrels and the other aged in ex-Madeira casks. Bottled at 48% ABV with no added sugar or flavor additives.

Tasting Notes
"Look for ripe banana, vanilla, deliciously stewed berries and oak on the nose of this amber-brown hued rum. On the palate it's quite zesty, with prominent, balanced notes of grapefruit rind, ginger and oak tannins. There's a long-lasting, tingly finish."
