"Bourbon drinkers contemplating getting into Japanese whisky may find these 12 year single cask releases from Fukano an excellent way to start. Though distilled from from rice, not corn, the influence of new charred oak barrels brings in some familiar bourbon notes. It's a richly flavorful whisky from Fukano, with tastes of leather, dried fruit, and vanilla, as well as just a faint hint of smoke. Fans of American whiskeys will almost certainly find a lot to like here."
