Garrison Brothers Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon
Garrison Brothers // Texas, USA
When a law was passed allowing Texas distilleries to sell product directly to consumers, Garrison Brothers Distillery celebrated with a release of their single barrel bourbon. At first, customers could only buy it at the distillery, but sales were so successful that they began selling barrels to retailers, bars, and individuals as part of their "Single Barrel Program.
" Purchasing a barrel includes customized bottle labeling, but inside, the bourbon is made from the same mashbill as the flagship: 74% white corn grown in the Texas Panhandle, 15% estate-grown soft red winter wheat, and 11% Canadian malted barley. After an aging period of 3 to 5 years, it gets bottled at 47% ABV.
