Reviewed June 1, 2022This is some decent sake. The flavor is full and well-rounded. It's a bit on the generically bitter side for my liking, with hints of 70% dark chocolate, but it's still quite drinkable. Comparable to Hakutsuru Junmai, but less watery and maybe a tad more balanced against the sweetness. I don't love it, but it will do. It's nicely floral with some fruitiness. It isn't super rich, but the fruitiness lingers. Its complexity is comparable to that of Ozeki. I think this is a bit better, but it isn't worth the price differential. There's a nice freshness. It's a good sake. Sho Chiku Bai Nigori is better though. 13: It's more complex and tasty than Ozeki, but it costs something like 3 times as much. For premium sake, go for something else. For drinkable sake, go for Ozeki.15.6 USD per Bottle
