George Dickel 13 Year Bottled in Bond Tennessee Whisky (Spring 2007)

Smooth with flavors of peanut and hints of oak and vanilla

Not a bad nose but tart and tannic on the palate. Couldnt judge the finish because it felt like instant heart burn. Even for $40 this is rough....

Caramel forward, plenty of sweetness with classic Tennessee Whiskey finish. Great buy for $45ish.

Once again Tennessee whisky shines. *Some people love Dickel and others not so much* The mouthfeel allows for flavors to truly stick to the palate. Im getting loads of brown sugar and sweet granola up front. The mid-palate has hints of leather and rich tobacco which I appreciate! On the finish im getting a lot of oak char, deep tannins, and that charcoal-Lincoln County process is fully represented. On of my favorite Tennessee offerings.
