Rich notes of tobacco, oak, vanilla, and caramel are quite an aromatic start. The light entry on the palate reveals flavors of oak and stone fruit. It’s a delicate balance. The sweet finish lingers, accompanied by hints of allspice, tobacco, and a touch of vanilla. Unfortunately, the promising nose did not deliver the quality of an eight-year-old, but perhaps three or four years at most.
