George T. Stagg Bourbon (Fall 2022)

Sweet, sugar, vanilla, baking spices, herbal kick at the end

Nose: brown sugar, anise, oak, a level of buttery savor ones. Rum notes Palate: deep red stewed fruits up front. Followed by the oak. The oak provides depth on the palate rather tannins Finish: this is where the oak shines. Long finish and deep dark chocolate. Not bitter or dry. Sweet oak. Best whiskey I’ve ever had. 9 on the t8ke scale

Wow, here we go. The hype is right. BADONK!!! This year pops. Hits you with deep dark oaky caramel. Smooth, rich strong, everything a proof ***** rich whiskey lover wants. Coy and ehtbp watch out! This one beat out Eagle rare 17 (2021), William LaRue Weller (2022), GTS (2019) and Thomas H handy (2021) in a head to head flight. I would probably pay triple msrp for this one. Love it!

Finishes like a warm cookie

Complex and syrupy. I get like teriyaki on the front, along with oak and stone fruit. Back is oak, caramel. Very good!
